Learn to Play Pickleball for Grades 5 & 6! This class is geared for the player who wants to learn the game and all of its rules. Each week, the focus will shift to a different element of the game. During each class, there will be instruction, player development skills & drills, and gameplay. The expectation when you sign up is that you will attend all 3 weeks of the session.
The instructor provides the pickleball paddles and balls. Students may choose to bring their own.
**Parent/Guardian is NOT required to stay for this program. When the program is in session please wait in the hallway until class is over.**
Sue Adams is passionate about pickleball and has been teaching since 2017. In 2019, Sue won 2 gold medals in Women's Doubles. Sue is a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach. She is the founder and president of Friends of Groton Pickleball, Inc. Additionally, she is the USA Pickleball Ambassador of Groton. When not teaching classes at Prescott School Community Center, she is the Director of Racquets at the Groton Country Club.
