Foam Dart Blaster Squad - Ages 11-15
Come and join this fun and exciting Foam Dart Blaster event! Duck, dodge, and run to tag your friends at a distance while trying to achieve in-game objectives—then switch up the game and do it again! Practice integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork during fun, fast games of foam dart blaster tag. Students are welcome to bring their Nerf-style blasters that use full-length foam darts to the event —we'll check them all for safety! Grilling is one of the most popular cooking methods in America. How can we make the perfect grill every time? What types of grills are best for various types of food? In this program, Steve Brunelle will give a presentation on the grilling basics, methods, and types of grills. A hands-on cookout demonstration with chicken, steak tips, vegetables, and seafood will follow afterward. All the attendees will enjoy cooking and the food together. The program will cover the following topics: 1. Types of grilling, methods, and equipment 2. Grill safety 3. Food safety 4. Techniques and temperatures 5. Maintaining your grill 6. It's Gin Season! - Mix Up Spring Gin Cocktails

With Spring's florals and botanicals it can only mean one thing, it's GIN Season! Mixologist Miguel Salguero gave us a tour of how gin has developed its own deserved place in the liquor industry with the addition of juniper berries and an endless array of other botanicals like spices or herbs last spring. Gins are becoming very trendy in bars, especially Western-style drinks! Miquel is back to discuss other cocktails we can mix up with gin. Here is what the class will be making: Negroni Cocktail: Gin, vermouth rosso (red, semi-sweet), and Campari Aviation Gin Cocktail:Gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette and lemon juice Bee’s Knees Cocktail: Prohibition-era cocktail made with gin, fresh lemon juice, and honey NOTE!!: Attendees should have food before arriving and drink responsibly. We will provide some snacks and water. **You must be 21 years or older to attend this event.**

Come experience Indian culture and savor delicious vegetarian street food! Divya and Padma will guide you through preparing some popular street food favorites, including: Mango lassi is a yogurt-based beverage with a smoothie-like consistency. It's the best-loved summer drink in India! Chana Chaat is a popular Indian snack where cooked chickpeas are coated with tamarind chutney, vegetables, yogurt, chaat masala, and crunchy wheat-based wafers. It’s spicy, tangy, and crave-worthy! Veg Khaki Roll is an Indian layered paratha wrap stuffed with a spiced mix of vegetable stuffing. It makes for a good brunch, lunch, or tiffin box snack or a portable meal on the go! Overall, the class will also share the experience of eating using a plantain leaf, which adds an element of cultural richness and sustainability to the dining experience. It also encourages a closer connection with nature and an appreciation for traditional customs. Class $25 | Material fee $12
