Foam Dart Blaster Squad - Ages 11-15
Come and join this fun and exciting Foam Dart Blaster event! Duck, dodge, and run to tag your friends at a distance while trying to achieve in-game objectives—then switch up the game and do it again! Practice integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork during fun, fast games of foam dart blaster tag. Students are welcome to bring their Nerf-style blasters that use full-length foam darts to the event —we'll check them all for safety! This workshop is for students who have taken my Beginner Watercolor class or have basic Watercolor skills. We’ll focus on composition, vale’s, color mixing and watercolor techniques using guided demonstrations. The goal is to develop your skills in a fun and supportive environment. Sustainability and Biodiversity: Local Responses to Global Crises
Our Environment
Groton and its surrounding communities are confronting many challenges concerning the sustainable use of our resources in the face of growing populations and rapid climate change. In this forum, we will look at ways to reduce biodiversity loss, mitigate and adapt to a changing climate, protect water resources for biological and recreational use, and manage our lands for their ecological value. Week 1 - Challenges to the protection of biodiversity Week 2 - The Ecology of Climate Change - uncertainties and probabilities Week 3 - Mitigating Climate Change - can we make a difference? Week 4 - Helping Wildlife Adapt to Climate Change David Black has taught ecology and environmental science at Groton School since 1989. He served as a trustee of the Groton Conservation Trust from 2002 until 2021 and remains active in environmental issues in the community. His primary interests lie in the fields of conservation biology and land use management and planning. **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**

Painting Scarves with Alcohol Inks
Workshops
Join us to paint silk scarves with alcohol ink! Dana Haigh will teach techniques to make vibrantly patterned scarves using inks and isopropyl alcohol. Everyone will create two scarves of their own to take home. No experience necessary! Class $40 | Material Fee $35 Here is what they are saying about Dana's Class: "This was such an incredible class! Game Night for Twenty-Somethings
Games & Recreation
Join us at Prescott for an in-person meetup for twenty-somethings with a passion for gaming. In the online space, the ability to socially connect with others is slowly becoming more rare. Game Night is a chance for people to find a common connection. These games can range from board games, video games, card games, party games to anything that has that gaming spirit. Come hang out with other like-minded folks. Pizza, Snacks and Water will be provided for a fun evening of game play. Feel free to bring games you would like to play! Any kind of games are welcome, be it board game, video game, or otherwise. GAME ON! **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**
