Beginner Yoga
Yoga

Yoga practice begins with attention to the body and breath and is intended for everyone as part of a healthy lifestyle. We will practice a gentle Hatha based yoga that uses a combination of foundational yoga poses with the longer holds of Yin yoga, all with a focus on alignment, body awareness and breath practices. The pace is slower to allow for questions, individual assists and meditation practices within each class.

Watercolor Painting Next Step Workshop

This workshop is for students who have taken my Beginner Watercolor class or have basic Watercolor skills. We’ll focus on composition, vale’s, color mixing and watercolor techniques using guided demonstrations. The goal is to develop your skills in a fun and supportive environment. Students are required to bring materials. A materials list is provided in the confirmation email.

Cyanotype Printing
Workshops

Explore cyanotype printing on paper or fabric to create botanical or photo-style prints by applying a light-sensitive iron solution, then exposing it to sunlight to produce a cyan-blue print. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process invented by Sir John Herschel in 1842. It was first used to make architecture blueprints. This class will cover a little history and the basic process for creating your own prints using nontoxic chemicals, the power of the sun, and a dash of creativity! Workshop $40 | Material fee $20

Love to play Mah Jongg but can't find someone to play with? Come join the club and start the fun! This is a great time to meet your match! There is no instructor for this program. Three Mah Jongg sets are available in the room. You may choose to bring your own. **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**
