Floral Dreams in PanPastel
Join me for a creative and fun hands-on day exploring the versatility of PanPastel. Whether utilizing them in an underpainting or as a finished pastel piece, you'll acquire the knowledge to use them to your advantage while creating your floral masterpiece. The workshop includes a one-hour demo explaining how to mix PanPastel, application, layering, and ways to create depth and atmosphere in your work. Plenty of at-your-easel instruction and uninterrupted painting time. Everyone will leave with a finished pastel painting or two.Students are required to bring materials. You will receive a list in your confirmation email. If you don't own PanPastels or applicators, no problem, Lisa will have them available to use for an additional $8.00 payable to her in class.

Babysitting 101 - Ages 11-15
Life Skills
Perfect for ages 11–15, this hands-on class teaches you how to confidently care for infants and children when parents are not present. Kids for Community + Parents Night Out - Ages 6-10
Community
Kids will enjoy some fun games and activities and get to work on a service craft project to help others, all while parents take a moment to themselves. The service projects may include making birthday cards for Make-a-Wish kids with a critical illness, no-sew blankets, or greeting cards for Golden Age neighbors. Snapology: (Fall) STEM, Robotics, & More! - Ages 6-9
GDRSD Early Release Programs
Build, Create, and Explore on Early Release Days at Prescott! Keep the learning and fun going after school with hands-on programs designed to spark creativity and curiosity. Kids will dive into exciting activities like LEGO® builds, STEM/STEAM challenges, and Robotics. Each session includes two engaging projects with a short break in between to recharge and connect with friends. Students can bring their lunch and drinks to Prescott at 12:30 PM before the class or arrive at the class at 1:00 PM. The class requires a minimum of 6 students two days (48 hours) before the class date. Please register early so you don't miss the fun! September 12th – SuperStructures Challenge During this exciting half-day workshop, participants will complete two different challenges related to building strong, stable structures. They will learn how structures are built to withstand earthquakes and other natural disasters! Come create and build the future using LEGO® bricks in Snapology's workshop. October 17th – Engineering: Gears, Pulleys, and More! Is your child inquisitive, a problem-solver, a big-thinker, a tinkerer, a puzzler, or a budding engineer? If so, then come join us for this half-day workshop, where participants will complete two engineering builds using LEGO® bricks (including technic pieces). They will learn about key engineering concepts, including gears, pulleys, and motors as they build, customize, and test different contraptions. December 12th – Holiday Robotics Workshop In our Winter Holiday Robotics program, your builder will explore the basics of robotics while building some really fantastic robots inspired by different holiday traditions! While working with a partner to complete the building instructions and debug their robot's program, your child will be taught how different mechanical components work in their robots and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building activities and information about the traditions that make winter such a special time of year! **Parent/Guardian is NOT required to stay. This is a drop-off program.

Foam Dart Blaster Squad (Fall) - Ages 6-10
GDRSD Early Release Programs
Come and join this fun and exciting Foam Dart Blaster event! Duck, dodge, and run to tag your friends at a distance while trying to achieve in-game objectives—then switch up the game and do it again! Practice integrity, sportsmanship, and teamwork during fun, fast games of foam dart blaster tag. Students can bring their lunch and drinks to Prescott at 12:30 PM before the class or arrive at the class at 1:00 PM. Foam Darts will be located in the Gym if weather is not agreeable. In case of cold or inclement weather, activities will be held indoors in the gym. Class $45 | Material fee $6 Students are welcome to bring their Nerf-style blasters that use full-length foam darts to the event —we'll check them all for safety! Take the Stage JR. - Grade PreK-1
Dance, Music & Theatre
Class members will explore speaking in front of others with the help of puppets, nursery rhymes, rhythm, singing, and will work on a presentation to share on the last day. Students of other ages may be able to participate at instructor’s discretion - email classes@riseartscollab.org. **Parent/Guardian is NOT required to stay for this class. Parent/Guardian may wait outside of the classroom in the building.** Here is what they are saying about Rise Arts Collaborative's Take the Stage JR program: "The teacher and her assistant were both awesome.
