Line Dance
Come and learn the basics of Line Dance and some super fun dances! You don’t need any experience to join! Have two left feet? No worries! Never line danced? Not a problem! It’s just a great time with good music! We dance to a mix of music like country, pop, oldies, and R&B. We will dance in a line with other dancers, making it excellent for someone without a partner. A great fun for all ages! Please wear sneakers and bring water.** Parents/Guardians are required to stay with children ages 10 and under.**Here's what they are saying about Michelle Wright's Line Dancing class: "The instructor is really awesome! Obviously a very experienced instructor and she did everything she could to make sure we were having fun and learning the dances. She accommodated everyone and was very prepared." "Michelle is an excellent instructor and taught us for 2 solid hours taking into consideration the mixed age/ability group for music and dance choice. She has a bubbly fun personality and I had the best time! I'd go every week if it was offered. Was so much fun!"

Snapology: STEM, LEGOS, ROBOTICS, & MORE! - Ages 6-9
GDRSD Early Release Programs
Build away with friends on early releases at Prescott! With dozens of programs to choose from, there’s something for everyone. From fun, themed programs using LEGO® bricks to STEM / STEAM programs, Robotics, Movie-Making, and Drones, your children will be engaged from the minute they walk in the door. Each session will include two project activities with a 20-minute break in between. Students can bring their lunch and drinks to Prescott at 12:30 PM before the class or arrive for the start of class at 1:00 PM. Snapology provides children’s enrichment at its best with year-round STEAM learning programs that engage children from ages 4 to 14. Snapology instructors use fun, hands-on activities to teach Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. While children are exploring robotics, coding, and design challenges using LEGO® bricks, engineering kits, and technology, they’re building skills that will help them throughout school and their careers. To kids, it’s just fun! February 9th - GameBots Robotics In this game-focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while playing some awesome games with and against their classmates! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges and awesome games! February 16th - Super Structures Can you design the next Taj Mahal? Come create and build the future using LEGO® bricks in Snapology's new and exciting Architecture class! It's never too early to foster your child's engineering and building skills in this super cool program. March 1st - Mega Machines Robotics In this machinery-focused robotics program, your engineer will explore the basics of robotics while building some pretty spectacular vehicles with their classmates! While working with a partner to complete various challenges, your student will be taught how to effectively utilize sensors, how different mechanical components work in their robots, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with creative building challenges. March 8th - AttackBots In this exciting program, students will build a variety of military-inspired robots that will respond to their programmed commands. While working with a partner to solve the various challenges, your student will be challenged to understand how to effectively utilize a sensor, how different mechanical components can alter the power and speed of their machine, and how programming is a challenging but rewarding skill that they can master with just a little practice. We will support them in the development of their coding and building skills and inspire them with games and challenges using the robots they build with their partner. They're going to have a BLAST! March 22nd - Mining and Building Do you think you know everything there is to know about Minecraft® and more? In Snapology’s EPIC Minecraft®, you are going to be put to the test. Your knowledge is going to be challenged in games of crafting and creating. What ideas can you create in EPIC Minecraft® - perhaps something that you never thought of before? Come see if your skills are worthy at Snapology's EPIC Minecraft®! May 10th - Animation Studio Workshop Create amazing movies with stop-motion animation using LEGO® bricks. Children will work in teams to produce their very own movie complete with dialogue and sound effects. Movies are uploaded to a secure site for family and friends to see how cool they are! May 17th - Responsive Robotics Workshop In this challenge-focused program, your student will begin to develop their computational thinking skills by playing with modular, robotic cubes known as Cubelets®! Imagine this - every way your student snaps the magnetic cubes together creates a unique robot, but what matters is how they figure out the perfect robot recipe to solve a challenge. They will work in small teams to figure out how to create energy-efficient lighthouses, racer bots, maze solvers, goofy animals, and so much more! Is your student ready to play and tinker all day with Snapology? June 11th - Scientists Allow your child to cultivate their love of science and experience different domains of science & nature. Students will engage in concepts from astronomy, earth science, biology, chemistry, and physics using LEGO® bricks and other interactive learning tools. We make science fun at Snapology! **Parent/Guardian is NOT required to stay. This is a drop-off program.
