This online course will examine and discuss China today and the implications for China and the United States as Donald Trump once again takes charge of U.S. foreign policy. The first class will focus on the significant trends and challenges facing Chinese society and and China's government. The second class will focus on relations between the U.S. and China, and will include some historical context on what is now the world's most important bilateral relationship. You may sign up for both talks or individual talks. This is an online class via zoom.

MG (Ret) Bruce Zukauskas will lead and facilitate a roundtable discussion on significant geopolitical issues and events occurring in today's complex world. The objective is to provide a forum for a better understanding of world events and also provide a means to discuss and learn about different viewpoints on world affairs. General Zukauskas will select his “Top 3 Issues or Events of the Day” prior to each session in order to help stimulate the discussion. For example, the “Top 3 Issues” for a session might be: the West’s continued support for the War in Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, or Iran’s next move in the Middle East. He will begin each session with a short background presentation for a better understanding of the topics.
