Summer Fun Programs
Do you want to play with writing? Do you like to draw with words and draw from words? Writing can be fun if you let lose the creative being inside of you. What are your true thoughts? What places does your imagination go to when you gaze out the window? Let’s find out together. For one week this summer we will practice and play with words: writing from prompts, sketching characters in stories and feelings, exploring images and textures in poetry, learning how to get to the point in an opinion piece, maybe create a short graphic short story if that works for you. Come in comfortable clothes, bring water and a snack, a journal without lines, a pen and markers.
