Spring Birding
Spring bird migration is one of nature’s greatest annual events. Billions of migratory birds leave their wintering grounds and travel to their northern habitats for food and breeding. Some make a quick stop in New England before heading farther north, while others raise their young here. We will observe these migrating birds as spring progresses during our walks. Please wear appropriate shoes for walking, as some terrain may be uneven. *IMPORTANT: The locations for the guided walks will be announced one week before each walk, matching the migration status. The currently listed locations for each walk are educated guesses but may change. You will be notified by our office, the instructor, and the website about the location for each walk.** Saturday, April 11, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Ayer Conservation, 73 Groton-Harvard Rd, Ayer, MAhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/iQkCAUut1YCNtFxs6 Saturday, Apr 25, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Bolton Flats Wildlife Management Area Parking, Bolton, MA 01740Google Location: 42.4695880, -71.6551578https://maps.app.goo.gl/vzG4ux1JeyZVvLDLA Saturday, May 9, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Heald Street Orchard, Heald Street, Pepperell, MA 01463Google location: 42°40'15.6"N 71°37'20.3"Whttps://maps.app.goo.gl/Um5MZYVnfrucx4aG9 Saturday, May 23, 7:00-9:30 AMLOCATION: Nashua River Rail Trail - Broad Meadow Parking Lot, Broadmeadow Road, Groton, MA 01450https://maps.app.goo.gl/TDoRmchat4GijyM68 Saturday, Jun 6, 8:00-10:30 AMLOCATION: Dunstable Rural Land Trust, 1076 Main St, Dunstable, MA 01827https://maps.app.goo.gl/1qNxpmc3k5q8eioG7

Interactive AI Workshop: Creative AI Adventures - Ages 5–9
Summer Fun Programs
In this fun, hands-on program, children will explore age-appropriate AI tools for creating pictures, music, characters, and story ideas. Each day, students will complete two guided creative projects using their imagination and simple AI tools as a starting point. The focus is on creativity, play, and exploration. Children will use AI to spark ideas, then build on those ideas through art, storytelling, and music activities. Example activities may include: • Creating colorful AI-generated pictures and turning them into posters or story illustrations • Making simple AI-generated songs or soundtracks • Designing characters and writing short stories with AI help • Learning basic concepts about how AI works and how to use it responsibly The goal of this program is to help children see AI as a creative tool while strengthening imagination, curiosity, and critical thinking. Participants should bring a laptop if possible (a tablet or phone will also work), a nut-free snack, and a full water bottle.

Interactive AI Workshop: Creative AI Studio - Ages 10-14
Summer Fun Programs
In this interactive program, students will explore how AI can support creativity in art, music, storytelling, and idea generation. Each day, they will complete two hands-on projects that combine AI tools with their own thinking, choices, and creative direction. Snapology Summer: Space War Robotics & Superstructures - Ages 6-12
Summer Fun Programs
Launch into a Summer of Innovation! Join our Snapology engineers for an action-packed week of Space War Robotics and Superstructures! The Space War Robotics program allows students to design, build, and program space-themed robots using LEGO® bricks and motorized components. Participants explore key robotics concepts, including motors, gears, and sensors, while learning how to make their robots move, interact, and perform tasks in imaginative space scenarios. Throughout the program, students test and refine their creations, solve challenges, and experiment with different designs and strategies. They develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and engineering skills while learning how robotics principles are applied in real-world technology. The Superstructures program introduces students to the exciting world of architecture and engineering through hands-on building with LEGO® bricks. In this program, participants explore how large-scale structures—such as bridges, skyscrapers, towers, and other iconic constructions—are designed and built in the real world. Students engage in guided building challenges that encourage them to plan, construct, and test their own creations. Through these activities, they learn key engineering and architectural principles, including balance, stability, structural integrity, and the importance of strong foundations. As they experiment with different designs, students develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and critical thinking while discovering how structures withstand forces and loads. Both programs emphasize collaboration and teamwork, as students often work in small groups to bring ambitious projects to life. By combining hands-on building and imaginative play, these programs provide an exciting, interactive experience that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love for STEM learning. There will be snack and movement breaks to stay energized!
