Family Paint Night: Monet's Spring Garden
Join us for a night of creativity, chatter, and time with family or friends as we come together to paint a canvas! In this session, we will take our inspiration from Claude Monet's colorful garden. We will create an acrylic paintings on canvas, learning and practicing new painting and brushwork techniques. Although this is taught step by step, there are plenty of opportunities for participants to add their own artistic flair. This workshop is suitable for kids and adults of all artistic abilities. Class $20 | Materials fee $5

Travel & Language
Students who attend this class should have a solid foundation in the French language and be able to converse in French. Students will hone French conversational skills, delving into advanced grammar, usage, and mechanics while solving translations. The class will mainly be taught in French, and we will strive to maintain French dialogue, while learning through music, international signs, body language. Materials to bring: Please bring to class a notebook and/or loose-leaf paper, writing utensils, a pocket folder, and a small French/English dictionary would be helpful (Katy will have extras on hand). Bonjour Les Amis! Cours Semi-débutant - Semi-Beginner French
Travel & Language
Students will work on French conversational skills, grammar, usage, and mechanics, while conjugating verbs in the present tense and learning to solve translations. As much as possible, students will learn French interactively and naturally through TPR (Total Physical Response), much in the same way one learns a mother tongue. We will utilize music, international signs, body language, and games during class, as well as reading short current event articles, graphic novels, and listening to brief blog posts. Materials to Bring: a notebook and/or loose-leaf paper, writing utensils, a pocket folder, and a French-English dictionary (Katy will have extras on hand). This class is for advanced-beginning adult students who have a basic foundation and understanding of the French language.

Buona Conversazione! Beginner Italian Conversation!
Travel & Language
This class is an introductory course focused on Italian conversation. We will explore various topics, including Italian culture, geography, pronunciation, and grammar, all while having fun in an interactive environment. The class provides the community with an opportunity to learn basic Italian conversation skills and become comfortable interacting with Italians during various activities when visiting Italy. Instructor Alessandro looks forward to sharing this experience with you. The instructor will email attendees the materials before each class. Attendees may view the materials on their devices or print them out themselves.

Famous throughout the world, Glacier National Park is a geographical marvel with jaw-dropping mountain vistas, deep valleys, and clear, pristine lakes, and should be on everyone's travel destination list. Your host for this session is Steve Brunelle, a savvy and experienced DIY traveler who has visited all of the major parks in America. He has stayed in their lodges and camped, hiked, explored, and sought out the best areas to see and experience. Steve recently returned from a trip to Glacier National Park in September and is eager to share his experiences and photos and help you prepare and make the most of your trip. Having a successful and memorable trip to these large remote parks requires skillful planning and research. This program will help simplify the daunting task of planning your own trip. Mary and Jim have traveled extensively throughout their lives and their retirements. Returning from a long trip to South and Central Africa that included four separate safaris in four countries, they decided to share what they learned about most safari trips, including many photos of animals and landscapes one might expect to see. How to pack? Typical regimes? African culture? This class helps you prepare for your next trip or reflect on a past one. **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**
