This playful hour of dance weaves together movement games, ballet and contemporary dance, and storytelling. Decent Dance believes that children have a natural understanding of physical expression: after all, that is their primary mode of communication in those early years! Tony's Creative Movement class taps into the imaginative spirit and innate desire to wiggle for children ages 3-7. By integrating both open-ended prompts and what we like to call "soft technique", this class offers just enough structure and a whole lot of autonomous empowerment for young dancers. Bring your youngsters (ages 1-3) with you to explore the world of creative movement and music together! Classes will include rhythm and movement games that encourage connection between caregiver and child while nurturing little ones' natural desire to wiggle. This is a great opportunity to meet other local young families as well! Register under the Child's Name.
