In this workshop kids will get an introduction to embroidery while creating their own personalized piece of art. We will learn some of the basic hand stitch embroidery using an embroidery hoop. Kids can choose among some premade embroidery designs and thread colors but will include their name in their own handwriting. Workshop $30 | Material free $5

In this mixed media art class, we will create a felt pocket pet. We will begin with the concept of our pet, create our own pattern, and then make it out of felt, learning hand sewing and embroidery techniques. We will also make a little home for our pet by decorating a tin box with paper, fabric or other decorative details. Children will have so much fun bringing their pocket pet visions to life! Join us for a night of creativity, chatter, and time with family or friends as we come together to paint a canvas! In this session, we will paint an expressionist beach scene. We create acrylic paintings on canvas, learning and practicing new painting and brushwork techniques. Although this is taught step by step, there are plenty of opportunities for participants to add their own artistic flair. This workshop is suitable for kids and adults of all artistic abilities.
