In this class, we’ll pick up where we left off from the Developing Your Drawing program and start turning our awesome ideas into short comic books. Everyone will run their stories by the rest of their classmates, come up with the characters and dialogue, sketch, and then finish their pages with ink.
Please contact the Prescott office if you would like to attend but haven't completed the Developing Your Drawing program.
Students are required to bring the following materials: 1. 11x17 comic book paper or 11x17 copy paper 2. Pencils 3. Ruler 4. Various inking tools like Copic Markers, and/or black India ink, and a brush 5. Coloring materials like markers **Parent/Guardian is NOT required to stay for this program.**
Jason Kruse is an animation industry veteran with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Prior to his teaching career, Jason had worked on everything from designing Happy Meals in collaboration with Pixar for “Elemental” to storyboarding on “Duncanville" to character designs for CBS's, "Tooning Out the News."
In addition, his graphic novel series, “World of Quest” was also adapted for television and aired in the Spring of 2007 on the Kid's WB.
