Over Groton’s nearly 370 years of history, many significant buildings have come and gone from its landscape. In this class, we will learn about several notable structures, distinguished for their history and architecture, that are no longer with us. Through their stories we see the changing fabric of the community, and the vital role of historic preservation, while catching a glimpse of Groton’s streets from centuries past.
