Prescott CC - 2025 PROGRAM CATALOG

This seminar will explore constitutional law issues arising in current litigation, including (1) the constitutional doctrine of separation of powers, particularly in the context of firing or removing the heads of administrative agencies; ( 2) the new limits imposed by the Supreme Court on nationwide injunctions; and (3) claims under the First Amendment raised by Harvard University in litigation filed against the Trump administration.

Chuck Vander Linden

Chuck has been engaged in the practice of law since 1976. He graduated from Harvard Law School cum laude in 1976 and retired from the full-time practice of law in 2021. He has an interest in constitutional law issues and served as an assistant editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review. He plans to provide seminar participants with an opportunity to study, analyze, and wrestle with First Amendment issues that are on the docket of the U.S. Supreme Court this term.
