Students will learn the basics of working with watercolor paints through demonstrations and exercises. We will look at many techniques to build layers and textures and how to select a subject and plan out a composition to creating a finished piece of artwork. We will look at different painting styles so students can work on developing their own unique painting style.
A material list will be supplied prior to the start of classes. Materials are not included in the course registration fee.
Claudia is a watercolor artist and avid sewer with a background in fashion design and a passion for all things creative. She is an elementary art teacher and has been teaching adults to paint for the past couple years. She loves to share her enthusiasm for art and painting with others.
