Game Night for Twenty-Somethings
Join us at Prescott for an in-person meetup for twenty-somethings with a passion for gaming. In the online space, the ability to socially connect with others is slowly becoming more rare. Game Night is a chance for people to find a common connection. These games can range from board games, video games, card games, party games to anything that has that gaming spirit. Come hang out with other like-minded folks. Snacks will be provided for a fun evening of gameplay. Please bring a water bottle to keep the environment green.Feel free to bring games you would like to play! Any kind of games are welcome, be it board game, video game, or otherwise.GAME ON!**All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**

Alcohol Ink Painting: Intermediate
Workshops
At the intermediate level of alcohol ink art, Dana Haigh will delve deeper into techniques, exploring more complex effects and styles. This includes experimenting with different paper types, mastering color blending, and creating more intricate designs. Class $40 | Material fee $35 This class is designed for those who have completed the Alcohol Ink Painting (for Beginners) workshop or have experience working with Alcohol Ink.

Classic Holiday Faux Wreath Workshop

Create a timeless classic wreath with the highest quality materials. The class will create a double-pine 18-inch wreath using berries, pinecones, flocked evergreen accents, and ribbon. Embellishments are available at additional cost. Grab your family and friends to join in on this fun and creative class before the season gets going! Glass Blowing - Make Your Own Beautiful Glass

Very cool and hot! Join us for a Glass Blowing class at New Temple Glassworks, newtempleglassworks.com, in Temple, New Hampshire in the beautiful Monadnock region (approximately 40 minutes from Groton). Up to 8 people for this group lesson. The New Temple Glassworks offers the following classes: Blow your own glass ornament – $40 Make your own glass flower – $40 Make your own glass paperweight – $65 Blow your own glass pumpkin – $65 Blow your own drinking glass – $65 Blow your own vase – $95 **A $20 registration fee is added on at time of payment. The item you register to make is the item you will make during the glass blowing class. You are only allowed to make one item during the two-hour class.** All classes include instruction, assistance, tools, color, and safety equipment. Please note that anything made in the hot shop must be annealed (cooled slowly) before it can be picked up or shipped. All the work will be delivered to the Prescott Community Center for pickup. Prescott will notify you when your class item is ready for pick up. During the lesson, you will be working in a fast-paced, hot environment, so dress appropriately. Please wear cotton or other non-flammable cloth (i.e. avoid synthetic material, fringe, etc.) Closed-toe shoes only. Students must be 12 years of age or older. Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. With all supplies provided, you’ll learn how to arrange decorations in a balanced, beautiful way to make a 16-inch wreath perfect for indoor or outdoor display. Additional embellishments will also be available for a more personalized touch. No experience is needed—just bring your friends or family and enjoy a fun, creative class to kick off the fall season! Join us for a fun and creative painting night at the Prescott Community Center, where you can sip wine, enjoy tasty snacks, and create a masterpiece! Whether you’re an experienced artist or just starting out, this relaxed event is the perfect way to unwind, express yourself, and connect with others. Come solo or bring friends—the atmosphere will be full of creativity, laughter, and great company. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase to make your evening even more enjoyable. The instructor will prepare high-quality paint and canvases for the painting event. Participants do not need to bring materials, only curious and joyful minds. Workshop $30 | Material fee $15 Please note: Drinks and snacks are not included in the workshop fee but will be available for purchase during the event.

Painting Scarves with Alcohol Inks
Workshops
Join us to paint silk scarves with alcohol ink! Dana Haigh will teach techniques to make vibrantly patterned scarves using inks and isopropyl alcohol. Plein Air Painting: Groton & Surrounding Towns
Workshops
Join the artists who love to paint outside! Whether you are a watercolor artist, pastelist, oil painter, or just want to work in your sketchbook, these plein air painting workshops are for you. Prescott teacher, Heather Barros, will be on hand to demonstrate and guide. Group interaction is encouraged! You may paint for as long or as short a time as you want. Plein Air Locations: Monday, Sep 8, 2:00-4:30 PM - Shirley Center Common, Shirley, MA 01464 Monday, Oct 6, 2:00-4:30 PM - The Groton Center, 163 West Main Street, Groton, MA 01450 Monday, Nov 3, 1:00-3:30 PM - Fruitlands Museum, 102 Prospect Hill Rd, Harvard, MA 01451 Please bring whatever art materials that you would like to work with. Standing easels are nice to have, but you are welcome to sit with a sketchbook or board on your lap. A folding chair can be useful, and wet wipes can be handy, along with a plastic bag to carry out trash.
