Art Sampler for Kids - Ages 8-14
This class explores essential elements and principles of art—such as perspective, proportion, texture, color theory, shapes, forms, and lines—and how they contribute to artistic creation. Through engaging projects, students will complete and take home a unique artwork at the end of each class. Lessons are thoughtfully designed to encourage exploration with a variety of materials, including markers, pastels, colored pencils, and black-and-white shading tools. The class is perfect for both beginners and advanced students, offering step-by-step guidance to build foundational skills while leaving plenty of room for creativity and personal expression.Weekly Activities: Landscape: marker Sun flowers: oil pastel Martin Luther King: chalk pastel sea shell: color pencil and sharpie Pelican bird: watercolor All materials will be provided.4-Week Class $100 | Material fee $8

Adult, Child & Infant CPR with AED & First Aid
Health & Wellness
This intensive three-hour course covers adult/child CPR and AED, adult/child/infant choking, and infant CPR. Following the course, you will be comfortable assessing a victim, checking for breathing, performing rescue breaths and chest compressions, and activating the emergency response system. You will also learn how to help someone who is choking, respond in other emergency situations, and use an AED. An American Heart Association course completion card good for two years will be emailed to participants following the course. **Optional: bring a yoga mat or towel for comfort during the hands on portion.** Upon completion of the course, you will receive a certification e-card within 2 weeks of your class date. To claim your card, you can either: Login to your American Heart Association account at heart.org/cpr/mycards. Check your email! It will be emailed to you directly from the American Heart Association (eCards@heart.org) with the subject line "Claim your AHA eCard". Beginner Ballet for Strength, Flexibility, Posture, & Grace

This class is designed for beginners with no prior ballet experience, introducing the student to the fundamentals of ballet technique. The class will be structured in a traditional format, beginning with barre work, followed by center work, and concluding with a stretching session. The emphasis will be on learning a ballet class structure, achieving correct body alignment, utilizing efficient body mechanics, developing good musicality, and exploring qualities and dynamics to progress toward a comprehensive understanding of ballet technique and expressiveness. Students will be guided to work safely and intelligently in pursuit of their physical potential. Students are required to bring a yoga mat (for stretching) and ballet shoes. Shoe recommendations are provided in the confirmation email.

Beginner Watercolor Painting

Learn the basics of watercolor painting in this beginner class. No experience necessary. This course will focus on getting comfortable with watercolor techniques and enjoying the process of painting. The basics of color mixing, value, composition and use of materials and tools will be covered. Through guided instruction and a step by step guided demonstration process, together we’ll paint simple landscape subjects. This will allow you to learn this wonderful medium in a fun and supportive environment. A material list will be supplied prior to the start of class. Yoga practice begins with attention to the body and breath and is intended for everyone as part of a healthy lifestyle. We will practice a gentle Hatha based yoga that uses a combination of foundational yoga poses with the longer holds of Yin yoga, all with a focus on alignment, body awareness and breath practices. A dance cardio session with music and dancing from Indian movies that takes inspiration from all over the world. In the session we will be sweating and smiling through the classics and chartbusters of Bollywood movie songs in several languages. This cardio session is a fusion of various dance styles including classical Indian dances such as Bharatanatyam and Kathak, as well as elements of folk dances like Bhangra/Garba, jazz, hip-hop, and modern dance. It has become a popular form of exercise and recreation for people of all ages and backgrounds to learn and enjoy. Students will work on French conversational skills, grammar, usage, and mechanics, while conjugating verbs in the present tense and learning to solve translations. As much as possible, students will learn French interactively and naturally through TPR (Total Physical Response), much in the same way one learns a mother tongue. We will utilize music, international signs, body language, and games during class, as well as reading short current event articles, graphic novels, and listening to brief blog posts. Materials to Bring: a notebook and/or loose-leaf paper, writing utensils, a pocket folder, and a French-English dictionary (Katy will have extras on hand). This class is for advanced-beginning adult students who have a basic foundation and understanding of the French language.

Whether you’re coming with family, friends, or on your own, you’ll find a friendly and inclusive atmosphere with something for everyone. From light, family-friendly games to more in-depth strategy challenges, players of all skill levels are invited to join in. Our team will be there to help guide the fun, with one facilitator leading family-friendly games and another supporting those interested in strategy games—so you can easily find the experience that’s right for you. No experience is needed! We’ll help explain the rules, get games started, and make sure everyone feels included. Cookie Decorating: Spring Flowers

Grab your friends and family for a fun evening of cookie decorating! Perfect for beginners and intermediate decorators alike, this class covers the basics of royal icing, including outlining, flooding, and “wet on wet” techniques with multiple colors. Start on a practice sheet, then decorate your own Spring Flower themed cookies. All materials, cookies, and frostings are provided—just show up and enjoy the fun! Each student will leave with six beautifully decorated cookies and a recipe to try their new skills at home. Cookies are baked in a residential kitchen that handles milk, egg, soy, wheat, tree nut, peanut, and fish ingredients. Cookies contain Wheat, milk, and egg. Class $40 | Material Fee $20

Core Strength and Conditioning
Exercise
This class is for those who want to build strength, especially in their core, glutes, and shoulders. After age 35, we start losing muscle mass which can lead to a host of problems, but the good news is, if you are intentional with your exercise routine, you can build new muscle at any age! In this class, we will use progressive overload (repeating movements with multiple sets) to fatigue our muscles and thus build strength. All exercises are designed to be safe and effective. All abilities are welcome, no previous experience is required. Variations and modifications will always be given to work within your limits while still challenging yourself. Building a strong body helps to prevent injury, lose fat, and create a lifestyle where movement is accessible as we age. **You are required to bring a yoga mat and water.** Here is what they are saying about Emma's Core Strength & Conditioning Class: "Emma is very motivating, always positive!" This introduction to crochet class is for beginners AND anyone who wants to improve their skills or technique. You will learn the techniques to create your projects and enable you to crochet evenly with all thread and yarn sizes. Initial supplies will be provided. The instructor will provide the materials. Cupcake Decorating: Spring Flowers

Hands-on cupcake decorating class for adults and teens 15+! Each person will craft spring flower designs on six pre-baked cupcakes using colorful frosting, piping bags, and festive toppings. The instructor will teach simple decorating techniques step-by-step, such as frosting swirls, basic piping, and fun patterns. Focusing on creativity, confidence, and enjoyment, the session requires no prior baking or decorating experience. All supplies are provided, and every person will leave with six flower-themed cupcakes to take home and share with family and friends. Class $35 | Material fee $18

Cyanotype Printing
Workshops
Explore cyanotype printing on paper or fabric to create botanical or photo-style prints by applying a light-sensitive iron solution, then exposing it to sunlight to produce a cyan-blue print. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process invented by Sir John Herschel in 1842. It was first used to make architecture blueprints. This class will cover a little history and the basic process for creating your own prints using nontoxic chemicals, the power of the sun, and a dash of creativity! Workshop $40 | Material fee $20

Eastern Brush Painting

In this workshop, Abigail will guide participants in exploring eastern brush painting techniques, focusing on the "Four Gentlemen" of bamboo, plum blossom, orchid, and chrysanthemum. Since the early 2000s, Abigail has taught herself to work with graphite, ink, clay, wood, enamel, and paint. Since 2013, the artist has studied East Asian calligraphy both in the United States and abroad, earning a B.A. in East Asian Languages and Arts, which included brush-and-ink studies at Ewha Womans University in South Korea and at Dalian Institute of Technology and Harbin Institute of Technology in China.

Family Paint Night: Monet's Spring Garden

Join us for a night of creativity, chatter, and time with family or friends as we come together to paint a canvas! In this session, we will take our inspiration from Claude Monet's colorful garden. We will create an acrylic paintings on canvas, learning and practicing new painting and brushwork techniques. Although this is taught step by step, there are plenty of opportunities for participants to add their own artistic flair. This workshop is suitable for kids and adults of all artistic abilities. Gentle Yoga for Healing: Injury Prevention & Rehabilitation

This course is great for those who are recovering from an injury, or want to focus on injury prevention. We will focus on a combination of mobility, strength, and flexibility in the different joints in our bodies, to create more durability and resilience. This is a slow paced class, and great for those new to yoga, or those who want a gentle yet intentional class. Please bring a yoga mat to class. Geopolitical Roundtable: A Closer Look at Significant Issues and Events in Geopolitics Today
Current Events
MG (Ret) Bruce Zukauskas will lead and facilitate a roundtable discussion on significant geopolitical issues and events occurring in today's complex world. The objective is to provide a forum for a better understanding of world events and also provide a means to discuss and learn about different viewpoints on world affairs. General Zukauskas will select his “Top 3 Issues or Events of the Day” prior to each session in order to help stimulate the discussion. For example, the “Top 3 Issues” for a session might be: the West’s continued support for the War in Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, or Iran’s next move in the Middle East. He will begin each session with a short background presentation for a better understanding of the topics. A roundtable discussion, facilitated by General Zukauskas, will follow for questions, comments, and discussion on the selected topics or other noteworthy geopolitical topics of interest by the group. **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.** Here is what they are saying about Bruce's Geopolitical Roundtable: "A diverse array of relevant topics is addressed, with Organizer presenting thought-provoking content."
