Kids Italian Cooking: Homemade Fettuccine with Bolognese Sauce - Ages 5-10
February Break
Join us for a fun and hands-on adventure into authentic Italian cuisine! In this exciting class, children will learn how to make homemade fettuccine pasta and see how a delicious Bolognese Sauce is prepared—step by step. With Alessandro guiding the way, kids will get to watch as he demonstrates how to chop, stir, and add fresh ingredients like organic ground meat, eggs, flour, Parmigiano cheese, herbs, vegetables, tomatoes, and spices. Throughout the demonstration, children will be invited to lend a helping hand. After the sauce is ready, the kids will roll out and shape their own fresh fettuccine pasta. Once everything is cooked, we'll enjoy a tasty plate of pasta topped with our homemade Bolognese—either to eat in class or to take home and share with family. We will have olive oil and cheese options for the attendees who prefer a vegetarian sauce with their pasta. Proper hygiene, such as using plastic gloves and washing hands, will be followed. Buon Appetito! **Adults are welcome to stay and participate with their children.** Please bring a water bottle and a container to take home finished dishes and, if you like, an apron.
