Taking a photo, video, or snapping a selfie has never been easier with your smartphone nearby. This class teaches you how to turn your ordinary snapshots into great photos! We'll discuss the rules of composition for landscapes, portraits, and actions, as well as how to utilize light and expand your vision beyond the apparent first shot. We'll look at examples of well-made images, discuss their uniqueness, and how to use this information to improve your photographic skills. You are welcome to bring your photos to the classroom to share with others.
All you need to bring is your smartphone.
I'm a lifelong serious amateur photographer, and worked as a website designer until retirement so I could afford camera equipment and photography tours. I've taught several basic photography classes.
