Have a kid who loves to move? Does your child want to explore different styles of games and sports without committing to a full season? Just want your little one to be active in a safe and well-coached environment? At the Kids Multi-Sport Program, we facilitate the essential elements of success in many different sports and activities. The instruction emphasizes both skill-specific and team play. The program will focus on fundamentals, skills, and rules of games. Sessions will include a combination of skill focus and game-play periods. Participants will learn more than just sports in the program. They are taught about teamwork, resiliency, self-discipline, and the importance of making good decisions. Our modern-day society is full of sitting! We sit behind computers, on phones, in the car, at the dinner table, you get the idea! Our bodies weren’t designed for all of this sitting, and it can take a real toll on our structural alignment. You will leave this series feeling taller, longer, and armed with the skills needed to incorporate a healthy routine into your everyday life. Please bring a yoga mat to class.

MG (Ret) Bruce Zukauskas will lead and facilitate a roundtable discussion on significant geopolitical issues and events occurring in today's complex world. The objective is to provide a forum for a better understanding of world events and also provide a means to discuss and learn about different viewpoints on world affairs. General Zukauskas will select his “Top 3 Issues or Events of the Day” prior to each session in order to help stimulate the discussion. For example, the “Top 3 Issues” for a session might be: the West’s continued support for the War in Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, or Iran’s next move in the Middle East. He will begin each session with a short background presentation for a better understanding of the topics. A roundtable discussion, facilitated by General Zukauskas, will follow for questions, comments, and discussion on the selected topics or other noteworthy geopolitical topics of interest by the group. **All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.** Here is what they are saying about Bruce's Geopolitical Roundtable: "A diverse array of relevant topics is addressed, with Organizer presenting thought-provoking content." The class is exclusively for those who attended Steve Brunelle's class on Introduction to Fly Fishing for Beginners. Due to popular demand, there is now hands-on fly fishing on the water! Take what you learned in the prior two classes and put it all together on a local river. Steve will guide you on the water as you learn to actually fly fish and hopefully catch a beautiful trout. The goal is to get you confident and comfortable so you can start fly fishing on your own. **Dates in May or June to be coordinated between participant and instructor.** This On the River class will run approximately 2 hours. Register online and Steve will contact your to coordinate a date in May or June. Equipment will be provided. Participants are required to bring fishing waders and wading boots. We will cover the following topics: Rod and reel set up Fly selection Reading the water Wading safety Casting Presentation Handling fish Catch & release consideration Prerequisite: You must have taken the Introduction to Fly Fishing for Beginners class.

In this workshop kids will get an introduction to embroidery while creating their own personalized piece of art. They will learn some basic hand stitch embroidery using an embroidery hoop. Kids can choose among some premade embroidery designs and thread colors but will include their name in their own handwriting.
