This five-week class is perfect for anyone interested in learning how to create semi-realistic and cartoon-style Manga characters. Students will explore how to draw and shape character anatomy and face expressions, focusing on proportions, poses, and adding intricate details like accessories. The class also incorporates the use of various materials such as watercolor, markers, and colored pencils, while introducing creative topics like fashion design. Projects are designed to be fun and engaging, offering both basic and advanced techniques in anatomy drawing. Sahar Ghavimi is a highly educated and experienced artist and educator. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, an Associate Degree in Graphic Design, and a Master’s in Art Education. With over 25 years of teaching experience, Sahar has shared her passion for art in diverse settings, including her own art studio, museums, libraries, colleges, and public schools. Currently, she has served as a Graphic Design teacher at Nashua High School, where she continues to inspire and guide her students in creative expression.
