This workshop will highlight big and little ways to live lighter on the earth. We'll start with some of thoughts and rethinking that support making changes then get specific on low effort ways to reduce trash and food waste, composting, "cleaner" cleaning, and shopping differently. The format will be interactive, and we'll all learn from each other!

Elizabeth Sawyer is a long time member of the Westford Recycling Commission. One this commission's responsibilities is "diversion," minimizing what goes in the trash by identifying and promoting local options for reusing, repurposing and recycling. Elizabeth looks forward to sharing our best tips with you and brainstorming solutions to help you rehome the stuff you want to part with but can't bear to throw in the trash.
