Join us to create houses for our feathered friends! Learn how to build a birdhouse out of wood using hand-tools then decorate your house and take it home! Younger children will assemble pre-cut pieces to make a house. The older children can cut the wood pieces with a hand saw.
Mary will supply the materials like cedar wood, stainless steel nails, clamps, drills, and extras for decorating. She will precut the materials for younger children (they don't need the small hand saw). The older children can mark and cut the board to prepare the pieces (they must bring the small hand saw).
Workshop $25 | Material Fee $12
Materials to Bring: A small hammer, 12" ruler or tape measure, small hand saw (for older kids), a pencil (any pencil will do), water, and a nut-free snack. You must wear closed toe shoes.
The birdhouse will have a moveable top so you can clean it easily.
**Parent/Guardian is required to stay and assist their child through the building process.**
