Join Tina Marcuillier for a beginner mobility, flexibility, and strength training program. You'll discover how to move better, improve bone density, increase muscle strength, and gain better mobility and balance. Research has shown that strength training has numerous benefits for our muscles, bones, brain, and mental health. Everyday tasks become easier, and our sense of well-being improves. If you've struggled to understand where you should begin or how to maintain consistent practice, this class is for you.
Bring 1-2 weights (i.e. dumbbells or kettlebells) that you could easily lift 10 times.
I am a graduate of FMCA and have a board certification in health, wellness, and coaching. I completed a 1 year personal training program with NPTI in 2012. Since then I have worked with clients to improve their health and wellness. This is what motivated me to pursue becoming a functional medicine health coach, what I call the missing piece.
Having struggled personally with an unhealthy relationship with food I have the experience to relate to clients who suffer with poor eating habits and the lack of desire to exercise. I can provide a safe and non-judgemental space to teach and guide the client to improve all aspects of health and wellness based on the individuals goals.
I have an ability and love for teaching and providing clients with resources that will help them discover the lifestyle changes they long to create. I possess active listening skills and a communication style that is compassionate and encouraging. My goal is to inspire the client to take control of their own health and well being through movement and clean eating!
