Cyanotype Printing
Explore cyanotype printing on paper or fabric to create botanical or photo-style prints by applying a light-sensitive iron solution, then exposing it to sunlight to produce a cyan-blue print. Cyanotype is a photographic printing process invented by Sir John Herschel in 1842. It was first used to make architecture blueprints. This class will cover a little history and the basic process for creating your own prints using nontoxic chemicals, the power of the sun, and a dash of creativity!Workshop $40 | Material fee $20

Tiny Friends Club: Play, Explore, and Build Friendships - Ages 3-5
Summer Fun Programs
Tiny Friends Club is a playful, engaging program for children ages 3–5 that blends early learning with lots of fun. Through stories, hands-on activities, and guided play, children will explore foundational math and literacy skills in a warm, supportive environment. Each session encourages curiosity, creativity, and social connection. Children will practice sharing, taking turns, and building friendships through games, imaginative play, and simple learning activities. Week 1 (Jul 13 & Jul 15): Colors We’ll explore the world of color through hands-on fun! Children will learn color names, experiment with color mixing, and enjoy games and activities like sorting and creating with vibrant materials. Week 2 (Jul 20 & Jul 22): Nursery Rhymes Rhymes, rhythm, and lots of fun! We’ll read and act out favorite nursery rhymes, practice rhyming words, and bring stories to life through crafts and playful performances. Week 3 (Jul 27 & Jul 29): Community Helpers Let’s learn about the people who help our community! Through dress-up, dramatic play (including a pretend grocery store!), and engaging activities, children will explore real-world roles in a fun, imaginative way. Week 4 (Aug 3 & Aug 5): Transportation All aboard for a week of movement and discovery! We’ll learn about trucks, trains, boats, and airplanes while sorting, building, and even painting with train cars for a creative twist. Week 5 (Aug 10 & Aug 12): Apples A sweet and simple favorite! We’ll explore apples through hands-on activities such as apple stamping, fun crafts, and playful learning centered on this classic theme. This program is designed as a drop-off program, but caregivers are welcome to stay if their child is more comfortable. Perfect for children preparing for preschool or kindergarten—or anyone who loves to learn through play! Children will sign up for a weekly program that includes two 2-hour sessions. ***Your child must be toilet-trained to attend this program.**
