During the event, guests will enjoy a guided tasting of Carlson’s signature ciders. Make it a full evening out by visiting the Carlson Orchards Cider Barn, where you and your friends or family can savor a delicious dinner and drinks before or after the tasting—a perfect way to connect with neighbors and enjoy a taste of local heritage. This cookie decorating class is perfect for beginners to learn the basics of cookie decorating along with the different consistencies of using royal icing to decorate with. The class will begin with a practice sheet and then move on to decorate fall themed cookies. You will learn to outline and flood cookies and use "wet on wet" techniques with multiple fall colors. The instructor will prepare all materials, cookies, and frostings beforehand. You just show up and enjoy the evening. Each student will leave with decorated cookies and a recipe to try your new talents at home. Cookies are baked in a residential kitchen that handles milk, egg, soy, wheat, tree nut, peanut, and fish ingredients. Cookie ingredients include wheat, milk, and egg.
