This walking tour will travel up Main Street and Hollis Street from Prescott.
While children are welcome to attend, the tour involves walking, standing, and listening for 8-10 minute intervals at each stop. Please plan accordingly.

Joshua Vollmar is a lifelong resident of Groton and has been researching, writing, and speaking about local history since 2016. A recognized community historian, he runs classes and tours on local history, writes articles on local history for the Groton Herald, and serves on the Groton Historical Commission. Joshua has worked at the Groton History Center and has led tours of the Old Manse in Concord. Working as a historical consultant, he documents the history of houses in the area.
