In Junk to Genius, children transform everyday discarded materials into imaginative creations and simple machines. Using cardboard, bottle caps, boxes, and other safe recycled items, students design, build, and problem-solve like real inventors. This hands-on program encourages creativity, critical thinking, and environmental awareness while showing kids that great ideas can come from anywhere.

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am excited to be back teaching classes during April Vacation week! Here’s little bit about me. I have my teaching degree in Early Childhood Education and have spent the majority of my career working as a Site Coordinator for After School Programs. Through my years of working with children, I have tried a little bit of everything as far as Arts and Crafts go. Creating art from recyclable items is always a favorite! I hope to see you there! Let’s get creative!
