Pickleball has been sweeping the nation in recent years, and for good reason, it’s loads of fun for individuals of all ages. Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, but there are many common pickleball injuries that we aim to discuss. You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of the physical demands of the sport, how to prepare your body for high level performance and how to prevent injury.

Courtney L'Hussier

Physical Therapist

Dr. L’Hussier received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Rhode Island and has experience in a variety of settings including outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, pediatrics, and acute care. Dr. L'Hussier has specialties in women's fitness and rehab, runners rehab, golf fitness and rehab, nutrition and health coaching, graston, cupping, trigger point therapy, and taping.


Knowledge of the human movement system, how to prevent and treat injuries, and the ability to fully and efficiently analyze and optimize movement, are her true passions. She founded Plus Forte to help people achieve their goals and discover what makes them feel their best.


Dr. L’Hussier has a special interest in helping females navigate the unique challenges associated with the different life stages. The collaborative approach and educating clients on the physical demands and nutritional needs at each phase of life are aspects of her practice that she has a great passion for.
