Dr. Jen Imperillo, the lead physical therapist for Neuro Critical Care at Lahey Hospital, will give an overview of the common injuries for runners including strains, exercises, and how to get better! Dr. Jen is an avid runner and holds a certification in Dry Needling. She will share her extended experience in injury prevention and discuss the benefits of dry needling to treat pain and muscle tightness.

Physical Therapist

Dr. Imperillo received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Simmons College and holds the following certifications:

Neurology Certified Specialist
Geriatrics Certified Specialist
Dry Needling

Dr. Jen is the lead Physical Therapist for Neuro Critical Care at Lahey Hospital. She works in the ICU as well as in the Emergency Department helping the medical team diagnose and treat patients with vestibular dysfunction. 

When Dr. Jen is not working, she enjoys running, spending time with her family and her family’s dog Ella and traveling. Dr. Jen is an avid runner and has a goal of running a race in every state! Next time you see her, ask her how many states she has made it through!
