Pilates with Props will use props such as the fitness circle, small balls, weights, and bands to intensify, support, and aid in muscle firing to build strength. The class is appropriate for all levels.
You may bring a thick towel or workout blanket for additional support. If you have an issue the instructor needs to be sensitive about (such as recent surgery, health conditions, etc.), please let Courtney know before class. Please consult your doctor before attending class if you have any health conditions.
Please bring a mat, towel, water bottle, and stretch band (optional).
Courtney has been practicing Pilates for nearly 15 years. She is trained in the Stott Pilates method and has taught Pilates, stress-relief, and body relaxation techniques to survivors of human trafficking and domestic abuse. She has also led classes in a medically-oriented gym, and is available for private sessions. In her free time, you can find her writing or spending time with her bunny and dog.
