Fire, Ice, and Beauty: A Geologic History of New England

Adult & Family Programs / Science & Technology -
Prescott CC - 2024 PROGRAM CATALOG

We all love New England with its beautiful hills, old mountains and seacoast. But how did it all come to be? The answer involves a tale of fantastic factors and forces that created the complex and diverse land we live on. In this course, we will study the history of Massachusetts and greater New England from a geological perspective, both ancient and recent, both momentous and mundane, that have resulted in our home region.

All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.
