Game Night for Twenty-Somethings
Join us at Prescott for an in-person meetup for twenty-somethings with a passion for gaming. In the online space, the ability to socially connect with others is slowly becoming more rare. Game Night is a chance for people to find a common connection. These games can range from board games, video games, card games, party games to anything that has that gaming spirit. Come hang out with other like-minded folks. Snacks will be provided for a fun evening of gameplay. Please bring a water bottle to keep the environment green.Feel free to bring games you would like to play! Any kind of games are welcome, be it board game, video game, or otherwise.GAME ON!**All proceeds benefit the Prescott Community Center.**

RISE Arts Collaborative presents: How to Host a Murder Mystery Dinner Party in 15 Easy Steps — a Theater Performance Workshop at Prescott Community Center! What starts as a comedic “how-to” seminar quickly unravels into a real murder mystery, complete with outrageous characters, stormy weather, and unexpected twists—and the audience is in on the action! Think Clue meets total chaos! Open to actors ages 16+. No experience necessary—just bring your energy and flair for the dramatic! Want to be in the show? Audition for a role by signing up through RISE Arts Collaborative at riseartscollab.org/production. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, July 29, and Wednesday, July 30, from 6:45–8:45 PM at the Prescott Community Center. Don’t miss your chance to shine on stage! After receiving a role assignment, you can register for the 10-week workshop at Prescott. The final performance will take place at the Bull Run Restaurant in Shirley, MA.

Summer Improv JR. - Grades 5-8
Summer Fun Programs
Improv Jr offers an exhilarating journey into the world of improvisational theater, designed to cultivate creativity, spontaneity, and foundational skills in live acting. This weekly course provides structured sessions where participants explore the art of improvisation in a supportive and dynamic environment. This class offers a transformative experience that goes beyond acting skills, fostering confidence, creativity, and collaborative spirit. Participants gain valuable life skills that are applicable both on stage and in everyday interactions. The program will cover the following topics: Introduction to Improvisation: Participants will learn the basic principles of improv, including "yes, and..." collaboration, spontaneity, and the fundamentals of creating scenes on the spot. Character Development: Through improvisational exercises and games, students will develop the ability to quickly create and portray diverse characters, enhancing their versatility and creative expression. Storytelling Techniques: Explore narrative improvisation, where students collaboratively create and develop stories in real-time, focusing on plot development and engaging storytelling. Scene Work: Practice improvising scenes in various genres and styles, emphasizing character relationships, conflict resolution, and scene structure. Emotional Range and Depth: Develop the ability to express a wide range of emotions authentically and spontaneously, enhancing emotional intelligence and versatility as performers. Stage Presence and Confidence: Build self-assurance and stage presence through guided performance opportunities, receiving constructive feedback to enhance performance skills.
