This workshop is for students who have taken my Beginner Watercolor class or have basic Watercolor skills. We’ll focus on composition, vale’s, color mixing and watercolor techniques using guided demonstrations. The goal is to develop your skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Students are required to bring materials. A materials list is provided in the confirmation email.
Since I was young I loved to draw and paint. That love blossomed many years later when I discovered watercolors. I started taking classes at a local community center and later studies with the likes of Andrew Kusmin, Paul George etc. I find it exciting to paint with watercolor because of the difference effects that result between water and paint. I’m inspired by light, shadows and color, most of my subjects are landscapes as I’m drawn to nature.
For many years I co-chaired the Westford Regional Art Event and also co-founded the gallery at the Parish Center for the Arts. My paintings sell through shows, fairs and social media. Please follow me at Beth_smith_art on Instagram.
