News and Media Literacy for Middle Schoolers - Grades 5-8

Children's Programs / Summer Fun Programs -
Prescott CC - 2025 PROGRAM CATALOG

In today’s digital world, information is everywhere—but not all of it is true. In this hands-on workshop, students will learn how to spot bias, misinformation, AI-generated content, and fake news. They’ll gain real-world tools to think critically, stay informed, and become thoughtful, savvy news consumers who can tell fact from fiction with confidence.

Adults are welcome to stay and learn together with the students.
