In this Adult Beginner Knitting class, students will learn how to cast on, how to knit and purl, how to cast off, how to read and follow a simple pattern. Once comfortable, they can choose to make a basic scarf, a hat, a neck cowl, or a basket. Instructor will provide the patterns. All materials will be provided by the instructor. Class $120 | Material fee $12

In this 3-hour-long class, the children will be encouraged to use their imaginations and creativity while using a variety of materials found in nature as well as recycled items to make their very own whimsical and magical fairy garden! Although not mandatory—since instructors will provide materials—students are encouraged to take a walk in nature at home/before class to gather items they may want to incorporate into their projects. Please bring these items with you to class. Examples include: acorns, acorn caps, pine cones, small twigs, patches of moss, small pieces of tree bark, and similar natural materials. Please bring a nut-free snack and water bottle.
