Do you want to learn and play chess with other beginner chess enthusiasts? This class is for those who already know the very basics or know how to move the pieces and checkmate but want to improve. The players will dedicate their time to practicing and learning. This wouldn't be considered an Intermediate Beginner Class, an extension of our Beginner Next Step Class. The instructor will teach more rules, simple tactics, and strategies through game playing. The student will also learn to think ahead 2-move checkmates. We will keep the scores for all 6 sessions. The highest scorer will get a special award at the end of the program. Snacks and drinks will be provided. This class is not for advanced students.
** Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.**
